From 2001 until 2011, Jolie Rose (then Pierce) cut her creative teeth with the anarchic Brighton production company Nothing To See Here Productions, back when the internet still felt like a sexy new wild west and everyone was making it up as they went along. In a very ‘Nathan Barley’ atmosphere of chaotic creativity, late-night edits, warehouse shoots and experimental web culture, Kriya Arts assisted the company across a decade of innovative media-making.
During this period, Jolie modelled and performed stand-up comedy, in music promos, films and short-form experimental work alongside a mix of famous and emerging artists, contributing to projects connected to names such as Fatboy Slim, Alice Russell, Quantic Soul Orchestra and Scroobius Pip.
